Two of the most popular 4-wheeling destinations are just a few miles away. Hells Revenge and Fins & Things both challenge and reward the off-road adventurer.

Gemini Bridges is a scenic 48-mile round trip from Moab that offers 14 miles of off-road beauty. Sweeping vistas plus the famous Gemini Bridges twin arch in Bull Canyon are just some of the payoffs.

A slightly more difficult challenge can be found on the Chicken Corners Trail. This backcountry road presents miles of sharp turns, steep ascents and steeper descents. You’ll come to a point one hundred feet above the Colorado River, looking across the wide expanse of Dead Horse Canyon. Highlights of this 54-mile roundtrip from Moab include a trek along the Colorado River Canyon and grand views of Kane Springs Canyon.

Poison Spider Mesa is a 16-mile 4WD road that’s roughly 18-miles from Moab. Considered by many to be one of the most attractive trails, it’s also one of the most challenging. But one breathtaking look at the grand views offered by the La Sal Mountains makes it a journey worth exploring.

Considered the most difficult of all off-road trails, Moab Rim is also the closest to Moab. A mere 15-mile roundtrip delivers you to a 7-mile rugged backcountry trail that offers panoramic views of Spanish Valley and the La Sal Mountains. To get there, you’ll need to climb the tilted rock along the Colorado River. Check your tires and your pulse, it’s intense.
